Welcome to Dark Horse Equine!
Dark Horse Equine and Performance Horses is based out of North Eastern Colorado. DHE is dedicated to breeding, raising, training, and performing some of the top horses in the industry.
Dark Horse Equine has two studs standing on the B\S Ranch in Colorado. There are multiple proven mares in the program. Our goal is to breed speed, intelligence, and athletic horses. Many of our horses go on to compete at the professional level anywhere from Team Roping, Calf Roping, Barrel Racing, Steer Wrestling, Hazing, and more. We believe a strong mind and gentle touch added to each horses natural abilities and grit gives our program its "Top Notch" edge.
Dark Horse Equine utilizes many years of gained horsemanship skills and knowledge to raise, break, and train our equine athletes. Through patients, drill work, and utilizing their individual capabilities, each horse is given every opportunity to grow in skill and performance.
Proficient riding abilities and knowledge of horse husbandry is mandatory to our program.
